APPLICATION_ The smoother your body’s details are the easier the graphics are to install but
X-Wrapz will form around complex contours and compound curves_ Most parts are die cut for quick and easy application but some pieces may need cutting~ trimming~ or resizing which should be done with a sharp hobby knife or a good pair of scissors_ When pulling away small die cut decals from their backing it helps to hold down the backing sections around the piece being removed to allow you to pull the graphic away from sticky parts where the die cut blade may not have cleanly cut through the tough material_

Apply
X-Wrapz dry by removing the graphic from its backing and start applying from one end then smoothly roll the remaining graphic onto your body while holding the end of the wrap with your other hand and being careful to avoid air bubbles_ The wet method with fluid such as ‘Glass Cleaner’ is NOT recommended when applying
X-Wrapz_

Large pieces or pieces that need to go around complex shapes or curves will benefit from the use of a hair dryer on the low heat setting which allows the wrap to stretch and flex around the toughest of bends_ You can lift the graphic away from the body after it is placed but be careful not to tear the vinyl_ Heat
helps to temporarily soften the wraps adhesive so you can lift it to remove air bubbles or
get around complex contours and then re-apply_

WING
SIDE PODS_ Some wing parts may be die cut but since there is variation
between manufacturers with regards to width and wing pod shape you’ll
have to trim to match to your specific dimensions_ Use a thin
permanent marker or a pen to trace your side pods onto the blank
graphic provided and use a hobby knife or scissors to cut the
shape out about 1/8” (3mm) inside of the line you traced_
|
For the best fit use a
hobby knife to trim pieces of the graphic to match body lines
where necessary_ Also~ don't be afraid to use a hobby knife to
slightly alter the shape of pieces to make them fit better on
your specific body_ |
